Ready for your first project?
Let’s start with a quick reminder of what a project is and its differences with a work session. A project contains related work sessions (one or more!). A work session is your musicians playing on a specific day and location.
Projects can be used to organize entire Orchestra Seasons, multiple Work Sessions for a Movie or TV Series, a long run of Musical Theater dates, Music Festivals, and much more! Everything makes sense? Let’s get started then!
Creating the project
From Rhapsody, click on the Create button on the top right of the app bar:
The project form appears. Provide the required details about your project such as the name, and the related customer (entity that asks you to contract musicians):
Click on the create button. Yay! Your project is created. You have the choice for the next step:
- Optional: Select your project musicians: List all the people (and their alternates in case they decline) that will work on this project.
- Schedule your work sessions.
